Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls

Where the Red Fern grows is such a great book with a touching story. It is about a boy who earned mony on his own to get a pair of hounds. Once he got them, he named them Old Dan and Little Ann. Ann was smart, Dan was the fighting on his strength type. after all the trainings, they earned the boy a silver cup for the beaty contest, and the golden cup of the champian of the hunting contest. Those hounds earned money for the family, that allowed them to move from the farms to the town. The end was sad and touching, but it proved that the hounds were spcial.The book was so interesting, filled with rich thoughts and love for each other. I just couldn't stop reading.

Is it a tragedy? I like tragedies!
