I think the emperor is easy to get tricked. The 2 tailors are very mean. This book is funny, my favorite part is when the emperor is only wearing his underwear.

I read the book before and there are also lot's of other books that are the title just with different authors. The emperor is kind of too easy to be tricked because who would believe "magic clothes" ? but I guess that was how the story was designed!

Me too! I remembered hearing this story the first time... I thought it was pretty interesting but I guess that was because I was so young!

Maybe he was a good emperor, but as all rulers go, emperors tend to get greedy and the other people should admit they don't see anything! the 'makers' of the outfit used reverse psychology to make everyone believe they were unsmart and tried to cover it up. that means the kid who said the emperor was naked is smarter then the royal court!
