The Chrestomanci Series is about a boy called Cat and his sister Gwendolyn. Gwendolyn is a witch and she is very good at magic. But Cat is just a normal boy without any magical powers. Nobody cares especially, And Cat doesn't want to be a magician or a warlock. But times come when Chrestomanci, a person who adopted him when his parents died wanted him to learn magic witch he didn't. So he has a hard time. But because some reason he wants to learn magic. It is because he accidentally turned his maid into a frog, and his maid's boyfriend came and threatened that if he don't have a fight with him he will turn Cat into a frog forever. So he decides he will learn magic to defeat him, But he's quite a strong warlock. And he has only got 3 days til they have a fight... Who will win??
